Disney AP renewal Prices

Hi All,

For those of you that have renewed Annual Passes for Disney World did you get a competitive rate from Disney? I know Universal give you like 3 months free, I wondered if Disney did anything similar?

I'm guessing not considering recent price hikes but wanted to check.

Thanks!

you will get a discount on the renewal price
you'll get roughly $180 off compared to the initial price (annual pass at $1200)

universal offers 3 to 6 additionnal months on renewal, but this is just a limited time offer. (when a resort says "limited time" it merely means they really don't know when they'll stop offering it ... )

but, as of now, disney does not offer free months on top of the renewal discount

will they offer it at some point ... err ... where is my crystal ball ? ... lol ... and, even if they do, that would need to be during the period of time you can renew your pass (at universal for example, you can renew starting 1 month before expiration, and up to 1 month after with no extension on the expiration date. I'm not sure about disney's renewal periods relative to the AP expiration date)

So for info I was told Disney renewal prices appear about a month before they expire. Ours expire on the 10th September so we have about a month to go before we can see the price.
