Child seat plus ? 2 adults on back seat of Full size car

Question out to anyone who’s carried a 3 year old in an Alamo hired car seat in an Alamo vehicle.

Will a 3 year old in the Alamo hired car seat plus two slim adults fit in the back seat of a full size car?
Or does a standard SUV give more space?

We are two grand-parents going with daughter, son-in law and lucky 3yr old Disney Princess-to-be.
We will hire a full size car as usual.
Daughter etc will hire a second vehicle and we will go most days into Disney as 4 adults and 1 child in this second vehicle.
Second vehicle must fit the car seat plus 2 adults in back seat.

Any opinions gladly listened to

Thanks in advance

We had standard SUV in march with one car seat and two adults in the back and it was a tight squeeze. I would have had more back seat room in our usual full size car and it would have been more comfortable for those in the back

Thanks Carolmc
Just the feedback I was hoping for.

To partially answer my own question ; it possibly depends on the model within the range.
I've looked at online pics of current Nissan Atima. The rear bench looks like it fits one car seat to either right or left of the bench with the middle bit just about fitting an adult with a small bum.
We usually choose the Altima when there's just the two of us but the only look we'd given the rear seats were when we'd thrown the ponchos on it.

Had a Malibu last month car seat on one side and two adults in the back on a few journeys plenty big enough

When I am visiting my son, I often will be in the back seat of their full size cars with two pretty large car seats. My son drives an old (2001, I think) Camry which is more comfortable than my DDinlaw's new Infiniti.

I could not do a long trip in either but Ok for getting around locally. I am only 5'2" so that may help but my DDinLaw has done it too and she's average sized.

Thanks Gryff, thanks Ridersmom,
We've opted for a full size car with Alamo. That should gives us a range of makes and we can do the eyeball test for the best rear seat.
Will feedback on return
