Builder mess on road

We have had our bathroom redone and the builders - who are getting more and more irritating!- have clearly disposed of the dirty grouting water on the road near to our house.

It looks pale and messy and doesn’t look good.

Will it wash away naturally (Not that rain is due?!) or should we ask them to clean it up?

Or am I being pedantic?

I would ask them to hose it off once they are finished.

It will wash away but both just ask them to hose it down or if it was bothering me that much I would just do it myself!

Why not do it yourself? Just a quick hose/jet wash or if you don’t have that, a couple buckets of water.

The plus to this is your neighbours will see that you care for the area

I would do it myself if I had time but ask them not to make a mess of the road (or anything else) again.

They don't live there so probably won't care too much!

We have just completed 10 months of building and the builders cleaned the street every day when there was mess (nearly every days for the first 5 months).
This is the builders responsibility and they should never leave the street in this state.

Well I want to know who was cleaning out my back gutters and dumped a whole trowel full of moss and dirt down the front of my Polo shirt?

Oh that would have been me.

Sorry, didn’t realise you were that busy..
Me? As I have time, I would have spent a couple minutes with a hose, then probably give them a call to advise them, not that they would care at all if the job is done, but this would probably make you feel better.
Tom, I can jet wash your shirt if you want
