Just back highs and lows

This was our 3rd trip to DLP and our 1st staying on sight (we've done Orlando multiple times)

Highs
Stayed at SL short walk to village and on to parks was great. Enjoyed the Redwood lounge where cast members were attentive and friendly.
Disneyland Park as pretty as ever queues not too bad fast passes available all day for all the popular rides both there and in the studios.
Phantom Manor not sure why the refurb took so long loved this ride anyway but it has a nice fresh feel to it
Agrebah Cafe loved the buffet and themeing although deserts mediocre and ok cast member experience.
Steakhouse in the Village had lovely evening meal here and our server was great.
Bistro Chez Remi absolutely loved this Restaurant the theming food and cast members were amazing our best experience of the trip.
Fantasia Cafe is a must for us on our trips and as usual did not disappoint probably the most expensive coffees we've ever had but DH was paying so didn't matter 😂 love the Disneyland Hotel

Lows
SL very underwhelmed in general with this Hotel this is a Disney Hotel and I expected better quality. It is generally run down and not well maintained we had free half board the breakfast was ok but would not have paid for it we also thought the quality of the Buffet at night not good apart from deserts. Staff generally in restaurant and mousekeeping were quite unfriendly.
Towels and toiletries are of very poor quality I'm a size 10-12 the bath towels hardly fit round me and you get a comined shampoo shower gel no conditioner or body lotion in fact we had better facilites in the Travelodge we stayed in the night before our flight!
We were gutted Pirates was closed for refurb it's my favourite ride but not really anyones fault things have to be maintained 😂

In general I would only stay in a Disney Hotel again for the free dining I just feel we had better value for money when we stayed at Relais Spa and Dream Castle (even though 1st room had bed bugs!) not sure our budget would stretch to Disneyland Hotel
