I know 10 emails, I have thousands. Work is nearly as bad, I once went in a 2 hour meeting and had 70 come in.

Are you doing this from a PC or other device
If you are in tablet/ laptop mode under user cp there is an option "edit options" where you can globally switch off notifications.

My work email a busy one. I have to work hard to keep it at 10.

You can do it on your phone by switching to tablet mode, changing the option in user cp and then changing back.
