Destination Suggestion Please

We want to go away in September for a week, ideally somewhere that is still warm - shorts during the day, ok with a cardi in the evening. Want something to do daily, DH likes a bit of history, any suggestions?

Our last non Florida trip was to Sorrento which really suited us, we were out every day, Naples, Pompeii, Herculean, Amalfi, Vesuvius, boat trips, so looking for something along similar lines.
Thank you

We’re going to split in Croatia in sept.
We have never been before, but there are plenty of day trips to go on,also there is history in the old town.
Krka national park, also looks stunning & you can get there on public transport.
May be an option

You could try Turkey ,the Fethiye area is s good base for day trips to Tlos (some relics from that site are in the British Museum )
There’s an abandoned Ghost
Village .The biggest market I’ve ever seen.Various boat trips Saklikent Gorge and further afield Perge and Aspendos .

Greece? You could fly into Mykonos then island hop 40mins to Naxos then pop over to Paros & Anti-Paros. Will still be warm in Sept. Or Dubrovnik we went last Sept and the weather was good. It's very busy and beautiful not sure you need a week there could have a few days then move to somewhere like Cavtat.
