Universal - 1-Park-Per-Day Ticket Question

Hopefully someone can help me out here,

We've purchased a 2-day 1-park-per-day base ticket with the offer of getting 3 days for free.

We have also purchased a night at RPR to get the Unlimited Express Passes.

We only plan on spending 2 days in Universal, can we use the additional days during the 1 day to visit the other park? i.e. use ticket for day 1 and 2 on actual day 1 (check-in date) to visit both parks, and then use tickets for day 3 and 4 on actual day 2 (check-out date).

the previous poster got it right

a 1 park per day ticket can only be used once to enter a park (can also be used for re-entry at the same park it was used at)

if you try to use the ticket at the second park, or at Hogwarts express, you'll be offered to upgrade your ticket to a park to park ticket
that's the only way you'll get access to the second park the same day

Thanks for the responses - I figured as much, just wasn't sure if they'd allow me to forfeit my day 3 and day 4 tickets to use them on the same days as day 1 and 2's tickets, but thanks for clearing that up for me
