ME when flying from New Orleans to MCO?

Hi,
When booking with Disney the CM took my flight numbers. I am doing a 3 centre holiday so as per title will be flying into MCO from New Orleans. Will I have to go through immigration again and keep my bags with me or will they go from the Southwestern plane to Disney Resort as if I was a resident?
I will first enter USA in Atlanta from where I fly to Memphis.

If you are going from New Orleans to MCO on a domestic flight there is no immigration, as you are not entering the country. You get off the plane, go straight to the transit to the main terminal building where the baggage claims are. They are downstairs, as is the transport. No idea if you take your bags to the transport or whether Disney might do that for you - don't stay onsite - ask Disney.

Thank you, I thought it was so it was just the Disney bus procedure confused me a little.

I'd take your bags to ME as tagging them and letting Disney take them from the carousel usually means the bags arrive hours later at the resort.
