Airboat - Orlando or Miami?

We are going in August for only our 2nd trip and keen to fit in an airboat experience. We fly back from Miami so have the choice of orlando or the Everglades. What are your experiences and is it definitely better from one area?

We did a trip in the Everglades about 20 years ago,close to Miami. The driver/captain of the boat was feeding the Gators marshmallows, actually got them to put their heads on the side of the boat, bit scary,but awesome. Couldn't tell now what the place was called, if even it's open anymore! My mate also near fell through an unlocked gate when we were feeding the very hungry Gators back at the 'park'. I managed to grab him just in time! So I think the Everglades is more 'real'!

If you can't decide, why not do both? They are fun!
