Mobile Where’s a good place to stay about an hour from Miami?

We’re flying into Miami Int in October (first time indirect.) where’s a good place to stay for night - about an hours drive from the airport. We’re just going to sleep, then get on the road as soon as we’re awake so just want clean and good good location, rather than anything fancy! Thank you.

West Palm Beach is about 1.1/2 hrs away, Expedia will show a list of hotels in all price ranges.

We stayed at Deerfield beach last year and have also booked to stay again this year. It’s about 1 hour away from Miami. We stayed at the Hampton Inn, very clean and breakfast included.

I'd suggest thinking about staying close to the airport as it's your first time indirect - with jetlag and first time getting through etc, may take the strain out of it and then prepare you for the drive up in the morning.
Numerous value options close by to MIA circa £50-£60 per night.
We're going next month via Miami and staying close to airport before driving up

Can I ask where and booked with who? I looked on Trip Advisor and can only find one for less than £70.

ETA looking for early April next year, so still just in peak season. It's low season now so accommodation will be cheaper.

That’s what we are doing, have booked Comfort Suites (£90), would be interested to hear from anyone who has stayed there for reassurance👍

Originally found places via Booking.com but have since changed as we'll be spending 3 days in Miami now and so pushed up the budget (thanks to the Mrs!) and staying at a Hampton Inn by the airport

We stayed by the airport last year at the Cambria Suites and it was a nice place to stay. This year we are trying somewhere different and heading for Lauderdale-By-The-Sea to stay in a renovated beachfront motel.

Which one? We stayed in one for absolute peanuts a couple of years ago because it was closing for renovation. Amazing location and fab building and rooms, but very, very tired. Lauderdale by the Sea is lovely.
