Buses question...

We'll b staying onsite for the first time (in forever... sorry

)

Doing this mainly for easier access to the parks. We like to arrive for rope drop... what time do the buses start operating?

About 1 hour before EMH or regular opening.

According to the WDW website:

Bus service from Disney Resort hotels operates from 45 minutes before opening until 1:00 AM. Return service to Disney Resort hotels ends at 2:00 AM. One-way bus service from the 4 Disney theme parks operates daily from 4:00 PM until 11:00 PM or 2 hours after theme parks close, whichever is earlier.

That sounds like it's specifically describing the buses to/from Disney Springs, especially the last sentence.

However, the bit about buses operating from 45 minutes beforehand is the same as for the parks. Although, in my experience, they tend to start about an hour beforehand.
