Things that could be better

People in the queue in Costa who wait until it’s their turn to be served before deciding what drink they want. Then they call over to their Mum, friend etc already sitting at a table to see what they want. Then do it all again for cakes, sandwiches etc. Then the rummage in an enormous bag for their purse, to find cash and the loyalty card. Then realise they can’t carry the tray because they’re holding an enormous bag so they pop over to the table, dump the bag and come back for the tray.

Erm, I think the centre of the steering wheel in my car is in line with the centre of the driver's seat? I can't remember any car I've been in where I've had to sit over to one side of the seat in order to align myself with the steering wheel. That would get uncomfortable after a while.

Mine come on automatic. Apparently it was an EU rule that all cars manufactured since 2011 have to have daytime running lights

You can be fined for not turning on your headlights if driving in rain here; you’re required to turn them on if visibility is reduced; darkness, fog, snow, rain etc.

If you drive in rain without lights in Florida, you’re breaking the law.
