Adding flights to Disney booking

Have only flights to book for next years trip, everything else booked via Disney.
Firstly if I decide to add flights via Disney when you phone can they give you a price there and then ? Or do they inform you at a later date ? Just wondering if the latter is the case and it’s to expensive guessing you can cancel?
And how long does it take to get your flight reference to book seats?

I’m just running through options as I know it’s not I’ll sept next year but just wanted to see what options are available when pricing up all the other airlines

You won't be able to add flights until October, 11 month before you return.

We booked direct last year and added flights on when they became available.

Disney were able to give us a price there and then, and once booked they gave me the booking ref on the same call. I was able to book my seats within half an hour of booking the flights, with only the deposit paid.

Some people have stated that they had to wait until the balance was paid, but I haven't had that issue.

I watched the prices for a few months brfore i booked but once I saw a price I was happy with, I phoned Disney and added them straight away, they wanted another £100 pp deposit, they gave me the booking code there and then and I went on virgin manage my booking and booked my seats, all very easy. 😆

Yeah i know that thankyou, just gaging the process and how it works with a Disney booking.

They were the same price that I'd seen on our last trip,
Time before that I think they were about £20 more.
But I would say hold your nerve and wait until you see a price your happy with, if you book as a package at the beginning then they will add them as soon as they go on sale but I buy hotel and park ticket then phone to add flights later, this then becomes a package with the ATOL certificate 😆

I go in late Sept 20 so I’ll give them a ring to get a price early November. I suppose I could do some dummy bookings to work out the price. Did you pay an extra deposit?

Yes £100pp, I would keep checking the price, we booked for November this year back in April 2018, I booked flights in the April this year so about 9 months out, I've also checked the price since and luckily I've not seen it cheaper, saying that we book PE so that might make a different ☺
