Discounted room upgrade - Universal

Hiya
Anyone know of the likelihood of getting a discount on a room upgrade at a Universal hotel? Thinking endless summer, for next year.
Basically we are looking to stay there for 2 weeks next May, are passholders but haven’t stayed onsite before. Will be 2 adults and 2 young children.

If no chance i’d rather know now, before we book 😂

For 2 weeks a free upgrade is alot.
Id say if its a deciding factor then dont book.
Any magic shkuldnt be expected...

Are you booking direct with Universal Orlando using your annual pass discount, or as part of a package? I doubt there would be a room upgrade just because you are an annual passholder. What are you looking for an upgrade to?

Just wondering if they may discount at all for a passholder. From standard to 2 bedroom 😊
We would be booking as part of a package, so not direct unfortunately.

They only discount for ap holders if you book direct. No guarantee of aph discount becoming available, but then they may become available a few months before. I usually book with free cancellation with hotels.com then regularly check loews website for possible aph discount

Savings can be huge, check out the pass holders link on universal website. May be worth cancelling your existing booking and booking direct

AP discount has to be done direct & they only have so many, so for instance I was cheaper booking RPR with Expedia than going direct because they only had Club rooms available Direct
