I hated Disney last year, we were there for 3 weeks in June. I found it so busy & warm and just didn’t enjoy it. It’s sorry to say. We were doing all the parks so I think that was half the problem. My girls are still young (11&5) so Disney it is. I’m like you I like my free days to potter about. X

Yes. More down days definitely make Park days more enjoyable. We have a few days together the first few days then are aiming for a park every second day with a full day in between after that.
