Any (Hobby) video editors out there?

AFter a break of many years I'm getting back into video editing. I will be shooting in 4K (using a combination of my Samsung S10+ and gopro hero 6/7).

I am using Adobe Premier Pro to edit but am dissapointed by the lack of titles there are in the base product. I'm sure when I paid outright for Premier (befoire it became subscription based) there were many more title templates.

If anyone here uses premier I would like to know where you get your titles from. I could create my own in After Effects but I've forgotten how to use it!

Thanks

BB

i always found premiere a bit clunky, and when my old copy stopped working due to upgrading my computer/OS i ditched it altogether. i'm not paying a ridiculous monthly fee to 'rent' the current version.

so for a few years i struggled with imovie. i hated it. it is one of the most un-intuitive bits of software i've ever come across.

a mate recommended hitfilm express. it's amazing. and free! (you pay for additional effects/plugins/etc, and most of them are only a few quid each) - i've not done much in the way of titles as yet, but it seems pretty powerful, especially with some of the 3d plugins available...

Shortcut.org is what I use. Open source and free. It is amazing. Almost everything premier does and loads of tutorials

Thanks Wayne - I used to have the full set of Adobe apps (when it was possible to buy them) and I don't like the subscription model but I get what you mean by clunky
