Seasonal 3 park pass but not using volcano bay!

Also interested to know the outcome as we r in the same situation.

I was going to just upgrade to the cheapest pass allowing 4pm onwards entry but feel Abit miss sold and miffed , although we are in cabana bay and it's a easy walk at that time. ☹️

Email customer service, the more people complain saying they feel that the tickets have been mis sold might make them have a re think (probably not&#128527.
After reading this thread I've written again to once again say how disappointed I am and that the problem is now being discussed on this site.

I'm afraid we won't be renewing the annual tickets again because of this, we tend to travel first two weeks of Aug and they've already stated VB will be blocked at this time 2020.

A quick email is worth a try😀

We will be onsite but the tickets won't allow access to volcano bay. Gutted as we planned a few trips here! Please email... I'm still awaiting a reply. But volcano bay block out was not shown or discussed to us but the other two parks were.

Just had another reply, offering 50%off the upgrade cost from a seasonal pass to the power pass which would allow access to VB after 4pm!

Once again I've declined, we would only have 1 evening where we could go after 4pm out of the 4 days we are at Universal and I am not paying approx 150dollars for one evening.

I had to laugh because her email says I'd be able to use the upgraded pass from 14 June 19 until 18th Aug. The power pass obviously allows going back in time 😂

So just had a reply basically passing me off saying yes I'm blocked out and it's subject to change.

Not sure how to approach the reply. We was going to upgrade anyway and try to make it work from 4pm as we have a week at cabana bay. What was you reply that they offered you 50% off. Have you heard anything else back as yet?

In the end I wrote three times. The first time I was offered 15% off a 4 x1 day ticketa which I declined, next was the 50% 0ff the upgrade difference between the two passes, I again declined and today they've given me two choices, the same 50%off as previously offered or 4 complementary 1 day passes. I've accepted the complementary tickets.

Basically each letter I've reiterated that I consider the tickets were mis sold or that we were misled as we specifically asked would we be able to use the 3 park ticket in Aug and as per 2018 block out dates we were advised we would be fine as Aug had never been included.
I also pointed out each time we had spent more on the 3 day ticket, and on the basis of buying this annual pass we had re booked 4 days at the RPR at a considerable cost.
At all times though I say it realise they are trying to be reasonable in at least offering us something but I do not feel the original offers were sufficient for what we had already paid.

Keep trying, I really think it depends on who answers your email.

I got a reply and they offered us complimentary day ticket for volcano bay. Better than not going. We will make the most of early access and go then...7.30 at a water park! You so wouldn't anywhere else. Lol
