Kennedy Space Centre - as an adult
heya,
so i've always fancied going to Kennedy but I'm an adult (so the paperwork tells me) this may be a daft question but is a trip to Kennedy suitable for just adults with no kids or is it more aimed at they younger person? |

Something for all ages, but broadly I think adults will appreciate it more.
It's a fantastic day out and one I'd heavily recommend everyone does. |

Brilliant day out - I've been several times and going again this year as we are going on a cruise from/to Port Canaveral so figured while we are over there we'll swing by and see Space Shuttle Atlantis as I haven't been since that was done.
It's a fabulous place

You're in for a real treat! The whole Atlantis exhibition is astounding.
I'm not going to give away any spoilers but I "got something in my eye" at one stage! |

Agree with everything everyone else has said -one of the best days out I have been on for a very long time. Atlantis - well that's up a notch again!

We love a day out at Kennedy, have been a few times and each time there’s something added or that we’ve missed on previous visits. We’ve gone over the years as the girls were growing up and also as adults - next year for us we’re planning another visit as it’s been about 5 years since our last visit so deffo an all adults trip and we’ll have the added pleasure of our youngest daughter, Rebecca’s (dibber Becca_) boyfriend visiting Kennedy for his first time, so we’re looking forward to showing him around. There are amazing photo opportunities at the Space Centre so make sure you’re prepared for that and no matter how much you thought you already knew about the Space missions I guarantee you, you’ll learn a whole lot more. It’s a fantastic day out and in my opinion great value for money.

I would say that is very much more aimed at Adults, (but with the needs of children considered).
If you were around when the shuttle programme was in full swing, then you will find it amazingly presented, same as for those as old as me with the Shuttle programme. Whilst I would not visit it on every Florida vacation, it is a truly good day out for anybody with an interest in space.. of any age. The Valiant Air Command museum, just up the road is pretty good also!

We were lucky enough to catch a launch the say we went. I have to admit I was a moon landing sceptic but I am pretty sure this has changed my mind it is an amazing place.
