Park Free Day in December?
We are looking for some suggestions for things to do in December (first 2 weeks) on our park free days? We've already got KSC booked, but if anybody has any more Christmas themed suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it.
We are 2 adults who will not have a car, but are happy to get Uber/Lyft if needed. |

Visit the town of Celebration which is extensively themed for the season.
It "snows" on Market Street and there's an outdoor skating rink. Most of the houses are decorated and although you're not driving there are tours of the houses from the town centre. Sorry never used an Uber in my life so I can't advise on cost but there is the ubiquitous Starbucks WiFi there. celebrationtowncenter/upcoming-events/ Mick

Never done "Ice" but did have Christmas Day lunch at Villa de Flora a few years back - very nice but a tad pricey. Mick

We've also had Thanksgiving Day dinner there and just as pricey. Not the same year though. Happy to have the turkey dinner at Bob Evans at Posner now.

Absolutely love Gaylord Palms and Villa de Flora.
It's worth a look around inside the atrium in Gaylord Palms and they decorate for Christmas as well. I should mention they charge for parking but most of the restaurants validate your parking if you eat there. |

Seen some Floridian native creatures in the Everglades section of the atrium . Yes we always get our parking ticket validated usually by the maitre d' at the VdF Mick

Disney Springs will of course be highly decorated & have the tree trail (I’m guessing based on previous years).
Mall at Millenia is always beautifully decorated for Christmas if you fancy some shopping but it’s a decent run from Disney if you are relying on taxis (but not too far at all from the other premium outlets near universal if you wanted to combine a trip to the two). Otherwise have you thought about a tour of the resorts. The grand Floridian will have it’s gingerbread house & all of the other Mk & Epcot resorts usually decorate with style & have special treats.
