I found Walmart is now only good for buying certain foods in bulk or for large families. If you want smaller, cheaper portions of fruit try Wawa.

We think the prices of everyday shopping items have really increased over the years. We like Panera but it’s about $5 for an uncut loaf of bread. We can get a ‘specialist’ loaf from Tesco for £1.60! For the first time ever, this year we are taking toiletries etc with us. We are in a condo. with a washer/dryer so we don’t need many clothes cos I can wash them and I am taking washing capsules, washing up liquid etc. with us.

We tend to use Dollar tree for things like sauces, fruit juice, bread toiletries etc then just fresh food from walmart but have also shopped in Aldi.
As said sometimes it can be cheaper eating out but fully recommend going to dollar tree first and whatever cant get go to the other shops.
