We always did shoneys, golden corral, ponderosa and sizzler for brekkie. Last yr (and having had 10yr gap) we did ponderosa and golden corral. We preferred g.c but saying that breakfast is breakfast (well American breakfast! ) And both were fine. Kids were just amazed that u can get cake and icecream at brekkie lol. We would go back to both!

Ice cream and cake for breakfast yes but you forgot about the apple / cherry pies and most of all the chocolate fountain already flowing at 7.30am
Personally I’ve always enjoyed Golden Corral for breakfast and dinner we visited in late June this year and I feel they have really upped the standard of the food they serve in my opinion the best value breakfast available

Got to be honest, we were at Ponderosa a couple of times on the 192 in May. Our kids (11 & 12) love it and we've never had a problem there. It's no Denny's but normally I'll visit the omelette station which isn't bad and eat quite a bit of fruit which is good. I'd only use it for breakfast though!
