Rentalcars.com
Hi all
I have booked a car with DFCH but am checking prices most days to see if I can get it any cheaper and Rentalcars.com could potentially save me about £40. but I have a couple of questions. 1. Is the 'Extra Cover' necessary? Or is it overkill? 2. How are Thrifty? They seem to be coming out cheaper at the moment. are there any disadvantages with this particular company. 3. It says free cancellation, but it requires either payment in full or a £50 deposit. Would I get the deposit refunded if I cancelled within the allowed timeframe? Thanks in advance. |

1. overkill
2. won't touch them with a 30 feet barge pole 3. if it says free cancellation ... it's free cancellation ... = doesn't cost you a penny |

Dollar/Thrifty were abysmal a few years ago, but of late, the reports are coming in of a good improvement in service and fleet age/condition.
The only downside now is there toll recharging costs which are very high, but if hiring for use around Orlando there’s not many tolls and you can pay the vast majority cash. |
