Will we fit?

Hi,

Trying to get an idea of whether we will fit for airport runs - I know after this without cases we'll be fine.

We are a family of 5, with one on a booster seat (will be just over 4).

We will have 5 cases, and a folded wheelchair, along with our hand luggage.

Looking at booking a 7 seat MPV through DFCH but concerned will not all fit... 7 seat SUV would be tasty but is around £300 dearer

Any ideas whether we'll wedge in? We are staying at Davenport so it shouldn't be too uncomfortable a ride if we are a little cramped. Don't really want to send anyone in a taxi if we can help it.

We ususally get a Dodge Grand Caravan and there would be plenty space, only 4 of us be we always have plenty room to spare

I'm presuming we wouldn't get away with 5 seat SUV btw?

You’ll have plenty of room if there’s only 5 of you as there is usually quite a bit of space behind the back row and you can use that row for storage too. The Dodge Caravan is very roomy.

Thanks. Think I'll give up on that idea then. Any chance of 7 seat MPV being booked but SUV given with low stock? Or is that very unlikely?

I think they always have plenty of MPVs so I can’t see you getting a full size SUV instead.

OP, how are you getting to the airport in the UK?

a 7 seater SUV (Tahoe/Expedition) with the last row of seats folded down would fit all you need in, but a MPV like a Grand Caravan will be a breeze too.

We'll be in two cars. Don't think we'll all fit in a 5 seat Scenic but we'll give it a try

5 in a grand caravan with everything will be do-able.

2 in front, 2 in captains chairs and 1 in rear row with other seats in rear dropped. you may need to pop hand luggage between captains chairs or at feet but yeah should be ok.
