As a mother of 2 who lost a child, let me say I am so very sorry for your loss. After I lost my oldest son, I tried my best to create a happy and loving environment for my younger son, who was starting his senior year in high school. That meant that as a mom, I did my best to be present and in the moment, engaged with my son's feelings and activities and doing my best to keep us all able to find joy and happiness. It's not easy, but you can do it!

Absolutely heart breaking to read what you have been/are going through. I have a 13 and 14 year old daughter and am lost for words.

You are all incredibly brave and I’m sure your daughter would have wanted you to go and enjoy every minute of your special time together.

I couldn’t read and not comment I am sorry for your loss. I think for this holiday you should just do what feels right in that moment for you all. If that’s staying at your villa/hotel or doing something new or doing something I’m memory of your daughter just to do what feels right and be kind to yourself.
