Standard SUV Avis?

Hi,

I'm renting a Class W Standard SUV from AVIS through BA.
Can anyone tell me what cars they have available in this class at Tampa International.

I have booked the exact same thing group W with Avis via BA.

I think it can vary massively depending on time/airport but the below will give you a guide...

We have 3 kids so I’m hoping for one of the larger SUV's in the mid-size range (they can vary a lot from experience)

So just looked through around 50 pages on Flyer Talk forum and thought it would be a good idea to post my findings so nobody else needs to do the same:

Standard SUV available at AVIS (Group W):

Grand Cherokee Limited - (Leather Seats) - Best in class - Large Trunk
Ford Explorer (No leather seats) - Expensive to run - Large Trunk
Ford Explorer Limited (Tech pack and leather seats) - Choose this if no Grand Cherokee is available - Expensive to run - Large Trunk
GMC Terrain
Ford Edge - Small for it's class but looks nice - small trunk
Toyota 4Runner - Large and big trunk
Toyota FJ Cruiser - Goofy Looking
