What time should we check in for early entry March 2016?

Hello

Just wondering what time we should check in at RPR for early entry on Sunday 20th March 2016? We want to make the most of early entry on both days and both parks are due to open at 9am on our check in day...does this mean early entry will be 8am?

It will probably only be IOA that has the early entry, it is only both parks that have it during peak times, and it will be 1 hour before scheduled opening time.
Just bear in mind that most rides will be closed until regular opening as the early entry is for access to Harry Potter section and it's rides, with the exception of the hogwarts express that won't start running until universal is open.

Yes I've been reading it'll most likely be IOA. Although it is the Easter week and according to Touring Plans both parks opened early over Easter last year so we might be lucky.

So if I plan to be checked in and at the gates to IOA for 7.45, does that sound ok?

Thanks, WWOHP is probably the main reason we're going to Universal anyway, my OH will have to drag me away to see the rest of the parks haha! I can't wait

Yeah 7.45am would be fine, don't be surprised if there are people already queuing when you get there though!
As easter is the weekend after you may be lucky and get both open. If universal opens early head for the minions as this is normally open too and queues can get quite long if you wait even with an express pass.
You will have a great time, I am a HP fan too and love both areas the theming and attention to detail is fantastic.

Be at the hotel for 7am as check-in can take 10 or so mins, if ur room is ready u will need time to put bags in there, 5 mins to get FOTL passes printed and 15 mins to get to gate by walking or via boat.

very useful, thanks. Our ee is 7! so good to know how much time we'll need. Plan to be at hotel for 6 then, leaving villa at 5 *shudder *

Eek, us too! Didn't think we would have to get up *that* early... but it will be worth it!
