Harry Potter Early Opening

Hi, we are going in August and staying at the Hard Rock hotel.
When/how can we find out which park will be open early for hotlel guests on the days that we are there?

I'd like to start thinking about a universal plan of action but it's hard to do without knowing which park we will be starting in.

The park hours aren't out until about 3 months before. Not sure if it's always one park that opens early or if they alternate.

Don't count on them alternating. In the run up to Halloween it was US every day, as the HHN meant the park closed at 5 if you weren't going to the HHN. I think in the summer it was IoA every day but I might be misremembering.

We had 3 days of early entry. On the first we did the HP stuff in US then first hogwarts express and did the HP stuff there then spent the rest of the day in IoA. The second day we stayed in us all day. The third day we did HP stuff in us, then HP stuff in IoA then back to us as we decided we preferred the rides.

As above, its too early to tell at the moment but the last time we stayed in August, both parks were open an hour early as it was high season. The time before that it was just US that was open although that was the year that Diagon Alley opened, and the year before that, it was just IoA which opened earlier.

As you can see, any combination is possible so you will need to check again for an answer around May.
