Cabana at Typhoon Lagoon

Hi Folks, we are going to book a cabana for the first time for our August trip, can anyone advise which is the best location as I can see that there are two areas of cabanas at TL just wondering whether those who have used them can advise which location they prefer and why?

I would personally choose the cabanas by Castaway Glen lazy river. Nearer to the food shacks and toilets. Pretty sure there is also a cabana rental only entrance in and out of the lazy river here too. So you can float on down stream to your next desired ride!

Only issue we found with that location was wasps! There were so many that we couldn't have fizzy drinks or ice cream in the cabanna or we would be surrounded. The staff were good and tried to help- they did move us to another cabana in the same location which was slightly better. Not sure if the other location has the same issue.
