Disney Park Hours August

Just been looking at some of the park hours for August and I am amazed at how early some of them are closing for August!

Can't believe that Magic Kingdom is closing at 9pm on quite a few nights in August, even DLRP used to stay open till 11am / 12 midnight in August.

If there is EMH for the evening, is that generally one hour extra, similar to the mornings?

They will change about a month before. Disney always release a conservative set of hours to start with then increase them.
