Dinner at The Crystal Palace?
Would like to try The Crystal Palace for the first time this year. I've found plenty of recommendations / trip reports for breakfast, however we're not too bothered for the early entrance. Has anyone recently experienced dinner there? Would you recommend it? xx

We had a late breakfast there in August, and were actively invited to go back and try some lunch!
I tried a few tiny bits - it was all so lovely looking: salmon, succulent steak slices, peel'n'eat shrimp - all delicious. They also brought out beef ribs and crispy fried chicken breast. Based on this, we've decided to have lunch or dinner there this trip.

That sounds delicious! Sorry to ask a stupid question, but is the lunch menu the same/similar to the dinner one?

Thanks for the replies! I just can't decide. Think I need to finish my planning and see where it fits in.

Hellooo
Hopefully i will be able to help with some of your Crystal Palace questions Dinner and Lunch is a very similar menu, the only main difference is the carved meats between the 2! Its the same 4 characters for breakfast, lunch and dinner - Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet! Unless one of them sick, Rabbit makes a special appearance ! |

I was looking at it for lunch after the recommendations here - but seems really expensive to me. 2 + 4 kids, but 2 of the kids adult prices, probably the guts of $300 all in, seems crazy.

Up until a year or so ago there were 3 prices: breakfast, lunch which was only $4 more than breakfast, and dinner which was $10 more.
Now they seem to have gone the way of a lot of the buffet restaurants and just do the same menu from noon right through to closing. It means that they're raking in the dinner price across the board. We would never consider anything other than breakfast unless on the DDP.

Yeah, was seriously wondering if $300 is 'normal' to pay oop if you have no dining plan. Can't see us doing it. Will be a mix of snacks and shared QS I think.
