We are looking to fit in Forever Florida when we go in August. Is it worth going to and has anyone taken their children on the horseback trail? X

I have been several times, it is further out than you think, it is beyond Kissimmee, at St Cloud you do need a car to get there. It has a small cafe with the best pulled pork sandwich I have ever had, make sure you allow enough time to watch the introduction video as it tells you all about the history and family behind Forever Florida, I haven't done the horse back trail due to back injury but have den the monster truck tour a couple of times and loved every minute, we have also been when they have had craft fair and live music and had a fantastic time.

We did the horseback trail on Boxing Day. We actually rode for around one hour, with about another 30 minutes to set the group up on the horses.

Beautiful area and I would do it again, however my wife and son might disagree. DW horse decided to bolt with her on it at DS horse 😳 Made them both a little nervous but no harm was done. Makes an interesting video to look back on 😜

The guide did apologise and told us he was being a jerk, he's not normally like that.

As I'm typing this DS and DW have just said they would do it again. DD is 10 and she just made the weight and she loved it.

Thanks for the comments. The bolting horse scenario did make me chuckle but glad it hasn't put them off. Might have to check what weight children need to be as that might cause us a problem. Sounds like there are plenty of other stuff to do there though. Thanks guys x
