Question Disney dining plan 2017 help!

Hey guys, we are abit put out by this. having due to leave end of next week for disney i have just started to print stuff off and realised that 100s of restaurants have been wiped off the disney dining plan for table service and quick service?

im positive this wasnt the case when we booked and paid for our next trip, and i have even booked all the restaurants (most now are not included in the plan it seems). Does anyone know the reason for the cull of so many restaurants? there is only one left for table service in disney springs? we had loads booked and for the price tag of £2k+ i feel like we are going to be way out of pocket in terms of selection of places to eat on the dining plan

im sorry if this issue has been raised before on here im just not in the right frame of mind to go hunting around web pages as i have so much more to do, the disney phone line is shut now until tomorrow, so just wondering if any of you guys have the same concerns and if this will be the new terms in the next years dining plan etc?

many thanks in advance

Which restaurants have you booked?

Each January non Disney owned restaurants (TRex, Rainforest cafe etc) renew their contracts with Disney but don't appear on Dining Plan PDF lists until later in the year.

I wouldn't worry. They are most likely still all included. The list gets confirmed at the end of January usually. If they were on it last year then it's 99% that they will be on this year too.

Don't worry about it please as this happens every year. We've had 2 holidays in January and February so I had to use the previous years list and didn't have a problem with any of the places we'd booked, even though they weren't showing on the current list.

Just to add that I've never seen a restaurant come off the list, unless it's closed down. If anything, they seem to add more as new places open.

I wouldn't worry about any of them with the exception of planet Hollywood - not sure when that's due to open again.

Yes, dessert has been removed from qs meals, but there's an extra snack credit now so you'll get 2 instead of 1. Tbh, the qs desserts aren't that great so you're not really missing out. If you do want something though, just use the extra snack credit

i think planet hollywood is opening march now, but gives us another reason to go again in 2017! do you know if goofy and co sweet shop still accepts snacks as i read one lady said only fruit and water were available on snacks now?

thanks all for the super quick help

I'd completely ignore the person who says you can only get fruit and water as snacks now. If that was the case there would be long threads of unhappy people on all the forums and I haven't heard a peep about that from any dibbers there at the moment. I think you're safe to use them at Goofy's still
