DVLC online Code?
Has anybody heard of this DVLC online Code you need before flying out, to be able to give to the Car Rental Company?
I briefly heard something a few weeks back, but I haven't seen anything mentioned on here. Can someone enlighten me please. |

You don't need it in the states. Only the UK and parts of Europe. Look in the car hire forum 😀

Easy to miss if you don't follow Motoring news and or the car forum.
No you won't need it and just file it away for posterity, your paper license has no legal validity anymore unless you are one of those drivers who never got a Photocard one in which case the paper one is still fine.

I wasn't aware of this either, very useful to know.
So just to make sure I am clear, all you will need to provide when hiring a car in the US now is your photocard driving license? |
