what a joke this is becoming this year we spent out all this money for these parks and both disney and universal are closing rides left right and centre we was going back in may with friends who have never been before we have been telling them about all these rides and now were going to look stupid this latest one tops it off so thats now the hulk/soarin/disater/twister/backlot tour/thunder mountain in may/plus the closing of disney quest and planethollywood for a refurb

Only 1 major attraction has closed in DHS, with another one in April.. the rest have been small shops or meet and greets or already been replaced with other attractions. 90+% of DHS is still open...
Big Thunder's refurb may have been postponed or cancelled, no official announcement on that.

I don't think you'll look stupid. These things have to happen I'm afraid. LOTS of other rides and attractions to enjoy around WDW & Universal!

Honestly though you aren't missing much with Twister! It was terrible!

Haha true! I used to like Disaster when it was Earthquake, but after it was re-done it didn't half drag on!

I saw this in 2010 when I was last there and was looking forward to watching it again hopefully the new parts are quicker than other parks.
