Can you meet characters in Star Wars Launch Bay?

Hi

We keep seeing the WDW advert on the TV and in particular the part for Star Wars shows people meeting Chewbacca. Can you meet him there every day?
Are there any other star wars characters to meet? We will be going in August and all my family are big star wars fans! ( except me lol!)
thanks

It was Darth Vader and Chewbacca but Darth is leaving and being replaced by Kylo Ren in February. So yes, you can still meet Chewy.

that's great I think we will have to plan that for EMH for sure!
do you have to go through all of the exhibitions first to meet the characters or is there a part where you can go in and meet the characters separately?

and

do you know, with the jedi training, I read that you have to "book" it as soon as the park opens. would that be available to book during EMH too or when the park opens to the usual guests?

thanks

Kenny the Pirate's site says that it's from opening on an EMH day too. So make it the first thing you do.
