The mystery of the missing Christmas tree

I ordered a new pre lit tree almost two weeks ago from M&S which has disappeared on delivery. It should have been here last weekend and then delivery was delayed til Monday, then Tuesday. We rang up and was told give it another 48 hours , guess what no sign today either! The Evri courier tracking has no further updates since it was supposedly in the warehouse a week ago. I've rung M&S again and insisted on a refund not a replacement,.which they have done.
Now I've got no tree and ones I like are out of stock etc. Found a lovely one in Argos where I'm calling later for another parcel, but it's not in stock anywhere nearby. Blackburn is nearest and I'm not driving there from Runcorn /Warrington area.
A first world problem I know , but it's annoying me a little 🤣

I’ve had the same issue with DHL. Supposed to be delivered 2nd - keep being told it’s delayed. Now the Range is looking into it but heard nothing again. Luckily it’s not a present and not important, but flipping annoying. I feel your pain!

I've just been and bought a 6ft pre lit one and tree skirt from B&M as it's next to my gym. Going to have a nice quiet afternoon now and decorate it. What's the chances the other one turns up at some point 😁

M&S did this with me over a large mirror that went missing, they kept putting me off and then agree to a replacement as I really wanted it as it had a good discount. The next week two turned up! They said I could keep the extra one

The pre lit tree I bought this afternoon had a cable missing 🤦 so I had to return it and get a replacement. Finally got the tree up and decorated 😁 Not exactly a relaxing day , but there is always wine 🤣
