stayed at grande villas last 3 visits

great value & location, we had a 1 bed 1st time, then a 2 bed going forward. they are massive &whilst not bang upto date perfectly acceptable

20 mins one way to disney, 20 mins the other way up turkey lake for universal. no need to touch the i4

walkable to crossroads for food/drinks if you dont want to drive. we even walked to disney springs one night

win dixie and an offy just round the corner

there is an onsite shop/takeaway if you want to eat in. also had a pool bar area last time we visited 2017 which was new

I've stayed at all 3.

They are all good quality and locations.

Grand Beach might have more traffic issues at I4 and Vineland which would make it my 3rd choice.

I'd just pick the cheapest.

Edited at 08:06 AM. Reason: Typo

when we last went we were choosing between blue heron resort & grand beach & grand villas, went for blue heron in the end & were glad we did as there's an electrical substation near grande beach that would have bothered me,& blue heron was better value than grand villas. If you have younger kids (less than teens)do check out the blue heron... the one bedrooms have bunk beds in the hall so you get a separate space for a cheaper price than a 2 bed ( they do also do 2 bed apartments there). location is great & easy to get to Disney & sea world etc.

We've been to Grande Villas 4 times and Grand Beach last year (and going again this year). For us the decision to go to Grand Beach was cost.

Both are great resorts. Grande Villas has the benefit of being able to walk to restaurants and Grand Beach is a bit isolated. We do prefer the layout of Grand Beach apartments and the balcony size is much better.

What I would say is that neither is a bad decision.

I have looked at blue heron but it says there’s refurbishments until dec 2020- so don’t want facilities will be like?
