Depends when you want to eat? We rarely tend to sit down after about 6.15-6.30 and so in 5 trips eating out 95%of the time, I can only recall 2 waits. I think Mannys has call ahead but beyond that, I'll leave others who eat later to respond.

Our regular restaurants where I suppose we eat 80% of our dinners include Longhorn, Texas, Logans, Manny's (at Haines), Carrabbas's, Red Lobster, Bonefish Grill, Red Lobster and Ovation.

Of these we only ever ring ahead to Manny's and, if we arrive around 6pm, still have to wait 20+ minutes. Extremely popular with locals though and I'm certain that the regulars get a "walk up" immediately.

We tend to eat around 6pm just the two of us and always ask for a booth. Except Manny's usually seated between 5 and 15 minutes.

Thanks both. We tend to eat our main meal either at lunchtime or early evening so this advice is useful.
We’ve never visited in December before so worried that it might be harder to get a table, but for our times I think we’ll be fine.

Mick no way in the Winter Haven branch of Mannys enybody gets a walk up the4 girlson the desk are not to be messed with they know exactly how long you need to wait within a minute or so the one on the 27 is a free foe all even worse in snowbird season
We phoned ahead to a local family run Italian tonight it's 5 mins away
We got hi as you are so close we will phone you when your table is ready they did we were seated right away but gave our table away to a family who had walked up the kids were tired and needed fed
We got the next table all of 5 mins
