Booked Adr for today by mistake

I was booking my adrs for next year and it kept defaulting to today's date and I've ended up booking one of them for today by mistake :

I'll call in a while as the phone lines are not open yet but has anyone else done this? will they still charge me the no show fee?

Yep, we did it too 😀 We rang as soon as the phone lines opened and they cancelled it with no issue and no charge. I would suggest you ring though as otherwise there could be a no show charge

When we did ours, we couldn�t amend online as it was for that day.

Ring them up and they will sort it. Happens a lot.

As the restaurants are nearly empty I tend to book, amend or cancel on the day now.

I booked the Ale & Compass on Thursday at 6.30pm for an 8.30pm. Then I changed it to 8.15pm.

I regularly decide an hour before the ADR is due to cancel it. I move it to the next day then just cancel it all together.

I have done that loads of times. It is definitely possible to amend on the same day, amend it to another day, then cancel. No need to phone.

Thanks for all the replies

It would not let me cancel or amend online it said needed to call if I wanted to make any changes.

I spoke to a lovely lady who cancelled it for me and said it happens all the time so not to worry about it she also said there would be no charge
