It would depend.. It would of course have to be a cash booking. As 2021 is expected to
be busy and as there are not that many available for cash bookings they might not even need to offer the free DDP for these room types.

You would have loads of space, then! You’d have a nice master bedroom with en suite (includes a fabulous whirlpool bath), with a separate bedroom for the children (en-suite). Then in the middle of the two rooms the living room / kitchen / diner.

We found a one bedroom still fine in terms of space when we went with our adult children (they slept on the living room sofa bed) so a two bed would be brilliant

Have only done 2 bedroom Kidani, but they were fabulous. The villas in Kidani have 3 bathrooms (Jambo has 2), so made it super easy for getting ready in the morning, or when coming home after a day at the parks.

All these are DVC properties. If you get one from Disney it is inventory which they themselves have hold of for cash rental. You will normally have limited choice via Disney. You can rent points via here, someone like DVCscott who owns a rental agency and is on here, or David’s. This may or may not be cheaper, sometimes it can be substantially cheaper. It will certainly open up all the options for you which may not be there cash.
Best is a subjective term. Is it sheer size (OKW), best refurb (SSR) best new rooms (Riv), three bathrooms (Kidani and Bay Lake), best location ( the Epcot resorts get my win) or best value (probably Boardwalk Standard)?
For many ‘best’ is a combination of some or all of the above. There is often some consensus though about some things- you can’t argue as to size, and many people think the Crescent Lake resorts (Boardwalk and Beach Club) as well as Bay Lake Tower (Magic Kingdom) are the best located, me included, because you can walk into parks.
Here is a Boardwalk 2 bed standard, it was very good and low points for a 2 bed:
