no, when it was used full stop, so we had 8 days to go ( out of the 21 ) and they were only interested in the remaining 8 days

Thank you for this, sounds like our best option will be to buy a 21 day pass, use it for the days that are blacked out, then upgrade the remaining when we leave.

This isn't bridging the rocket-like they should take what you paid for it and deduct it from the AP, rather than knock days off, as I understand it anyway?

That's certainly what's always happened in the past, and what Universal did for us this year.

They should still give you the value of the whole ticket but the expiry date of the AP will be from when you first used your UK ticket. This is what has happen every time we have upgraded.

That's as I understand it also. Bad deal if they knock used days off financially rather than knocking days off the AP.

If there’s one thing they seem consistent on, it’s inconsistency. I think that’s why people say shop around when upgrading.
