I loved it - I wasn’t sure at first but as the series went on I thought the characters were drawn beautifully

I watched and loved it, the fact that it's based on the daughter/family of the man who wrote it & to see how living with a mentally disabled child can affect the whole family and how they think/feel about having her was moving (if sometimes hard to hear) & funny too. Thought the children in it were fantastic, and Rosie is quite bright if mentally challenged
Made me smile when I read an interview the father did that when he wrote it and showed it to his wife, she laughed as he had written himself in too positive a light, so he changed it to how he really was
I hope they do another series with her a few years older to see how they/she is coping
I also agree it shouldn't have been shoved onto BBC4 & should be on BBC1

Hi
As a parent of a SN child I could totally relate to some of it and how the whole family is affected.
Thought it was done very well with the humour and the time swap showing those early days of finding your way following diagnosis.
Should have been on BBC1.
