Just how much can you do at DLP in 6 HOURS? Let's find out!
I'm back here again, if you haven't been keeping up I've been lucky enough to go to DLP 4 times in the last year (last May, August, October and this February). I'm quite lucky to live 20 minutes from St Pancras station and have been making good use of my annual pass .
A bit of background on the thread title. I'm a student actuary at the moment where I have to do a number of professional exams (15 in total!). My last exam sitting finished a few days ago and the stressful combination of the exams and work has left me feeling like I really needed a day of fun for myself! I'm actually starting to really like a solo trip after a bit of trepidation last year before I did my first . I took a look at the Eurostar prices for next week and found the train prices weren't too bad. I'll be arriving at DLP around 12pm and my train back to Lille is at 6:50pm which is where the 6 hours comes from . Did I mention I'm going THIS WEDNESDAY? I know a lot of you reading this may think I'm completely mad but my only real aims are: - To see some of the spring shows. - See Forest of Enchantment before it goes away. - Ride Pirates, Space Mountain, Phantom Manor and Tower of Terror. Which should be easily achievable in that time (I hope!). Anyway, that'd my mad cap plan for a day at DLP, let's see if it all goes to plan or goes horrible wrong |
