Jabs

Hay guys, what jabs do you need to go to Japan? I hate needles but have a trip (of a lifetime) booked for next May.

I use travel health pro and nathnac.

It is for medical professionals but the travel health nurse at my GP surgery recommended it to me and said anyone can log in to see what is required by country etc.

Nothing is needed for Japan as long as you are up to date on all those that are recommended in the UK anyway. Only possible exception is if you are visiting very rural areas and doing a lot of hiking and camping. Japan is a country with excellent hygiene and excellent healthcare, so very little to worry about.

I only updated by tetanus because it's out of date, but I'm not having anything else.

I went to the Drs last week to check if I needed anything - if you got your last tetanus booster 10 years ago you'll need that updating, otherwise everything else is 'optional'.
