Loved reading all the great places to explore!
I was brought up in Toronto, Canada (went to school there) but it’s been years since I’ve been back - I will have to think about revisiting! Edited at 10:18 PM. |

We stayed at the Hotel Novotel Toronto Centre . It's recently been refurbished and everything is fresh and new . Staff were really friendly
The hotel is in a great position . Toronto's main train station is a short walk away so you can get the airport train CN tower , hockey hall of fame , St Lawrence Market are all walking distance . There is a mini market a few doors down and their are restaurants opposite hotel Sphegetti factory and Kegs Steakhouse . We also used the hop on hop of bus which is a good orientation but not completely necessary . We cought the train to Niagara and spent 2 nights there . In total we spent 5 nights but another couple would have been perfect . |

We have just booked for a week jun/july. We are staying with DH aunt, but looking at going to Niagra. We were thinking of going o/n and staying at Niagra on the Lake. Other alternative is going on a tour trip for the day.

We stayed in an apartment booked via air bnb, just up from the Financial District, it was about a 10 minute walk to the Eaton Centre. There's loads to do as listed by others. We went to watch a Blue Jays baseball game which was great fun (despite no runs until the 13th innings). We were there for six nights which was enough, this included a day at Niagara. Having said that I thought we easily could have done a full day on the Island as opposed to the three hours we spent there.
It's not a cheap city to eat and drink. |
