Well we don't have any pets but I swear the tape and scissors never ever stay where I put them down or the pen for writing the gift tags for that matter! I'd be flat on my back with the room spinning in no time if I followed this

I put the ironing board against the double radiator - paper tube sits in the groove between rad panels, ironing board adjusted to height. out of the dog's way and no bad back.

Does help that we are at the teenage kids and adult phase of life- presents tend to be smaller and more rectangular - or fit in a bottle bag.

Sounds like a good idea. The big box in my picture was a huge Superdrug order for our 18 yo DD 😀

Just showed this to DD - she’s having a very difficult time convincing the dog that she doesn’t need his help!

I've just remembered a photo from a few years back, when Eric was young enough to help me !

My mum only lives next door and so I take the kids presents to hers to wrap and keep safe. She was out last night when I decided to do them. I got out her ironing board, set everything up and off I went. What I didn't think about was her having the world's most needy cat who, despite being 14 and pretending she's an old lady, can be rather agile when she sees fit, especially if it means getting cuddles of one of her humans.
