Booking Split stays?
Hi all,
We are still waiting on Disney’s rofr to come back on out first contract but I am already thinking about our first stay! We will own at akl and are from the uk so usually stay for 14 nights. I am originally planning to book at our home resort for the full 14 nights at our 11 month mark (I’m aware you can only book the first 7 days and add the rest on day by day) However, depending on availability, we are hoping to swap the second week to the Poly. How would this work when booking in the 7 month window? Would I be able to book the full 7 nights at the poly as soon as the 7 month window opens or would i have to do day by day? Also, do the cancel the original booking did akl or just modify it? I’d hate to be left with nothing. Thank you in advance! |

Book 7 nights at AKL for first week then a week later simply book another 7 nights at AKL. So you will have 2 separate consequitive 7 day reservations.
Then at 7 months go to amend the one you want to change and elect to swap it for Poly. If you didn't change one at 7 months you could call member services and get them to amalgamate the two bookings into a full 14 day stay at AKL so you don't have to swap rooms.

Also perhaps book them both in different names then change the names after 7 months. It's possible for some meddler in Member Services to merge bookings without asking if the name is the same.
