flight sales / going in march 2019?

just managed to convince my boss that having me off from friday till new year was a bad idea due to everyone else being off, and so i've been allowed to carry 10 days over to march (normally we're only allowed 5) so theres someone covering the office for some of the holidays.

so yeah, looks like an "emergency" trip over. looking at the first two weeks in march give or take a few days either way. can do 13-17 days if that makes the flight significantly cheaper.

based in notts, but TUI arent flying EMA>SFB until later in the year... any suggestions of routes to look out for? MAN or BHX are probably our next most local places for flights. LGW/LHR are possibles, but would prefer not to if i didnt have to.

flying into tampa would be nice. i much prefer SFB over MCO, but that's not so much of an option out of season. open to flying into MIA/FLL/wherever if it makes it significantly cheaper - any tips on cheap flights, alternative routes or where to look/book?

woo! new countdown

i didnt know norwegian were doing a tampa route, thanks for the heads up!

i may or may not have to move dates forward by a week (so last week of feb, 1st of march), i just checked my calendar and i have a gig on the 9th i can't necessarily reschedule

are BA/virgin/norwegian likely to have some sort of january sale on flights and/or car hire? i've never really kept track of other carriers because we've flown tui from ema most of the last 10 years...
