Simple food whilst watching football

We have invited our new neighbors in this satellite evening to watch the football.

I am just awful at cooking and already in a panic about what to feed them. I love watching the football and so would rather spend more time socialising and watching the game than cooking in the kitchen...so what should I provide food wise?

Dh thinks I should just get some party type food and keep it really simple, but does that seem a bit mean to not provide a proper meal?

You can do it quite simply, I like to do a slow cooker pulled pork for pulled pork rolls. If you cook it during the day, then you can just have rolls ready so you can assemble them when you are ready to eat. I also find Doritos and dips are easy too, if you google bacon and corn cream cheese dip, you can again make that in advance and it looks really fancy when you serve it in a cobb loaf. Tastes amazing too! Have fun!

Or a chilli in the slow cooker, served with tortilla chips, sour cream and guacamole
