FINAL UPDATE!
Tomorrow we travel to Manchester!  I'm just about packed - packing cubes are the best invention - just a couple of things to do tomorrow morning (find some leggings, paint my nails...) and then we'll be set. I've managed to buy myself more vests and t-shirts than anyone would need for a 2 months stay never mind 2 weeks  And I won't even talk about the shoes/sandals/flipflops/trainers  Let's just say we'll definately need to weigh the cases before we leave... Chris finishes work at 12:30 and Dylan at 11. So all being well I would hope to be on the road by 2pm. No doubt there'll be lots of tears from me because I'll miss my Grandson and dogs terribly  Oh and my daughter, but at least I can text, Facetime, Whatsapp and insta story her at any time   Since the last update I managed to secure a brand new shiny job  I start the Monday after we return. Perfect. We also celebrated my Grandson's christening, DHs 45th birthday and my son passed his driving test and my daughter enrolled at college as she wants to go to Uni next year  all in all a very successful September.  I also just managed to do something else which I'm really excited about... We have (I have... it was all me) booked 1 night at RPR Club Level and 2 day 2 Park Hopper tickets for US/IOA  This is the best news ever. I was very very nervous about spending the extra money but I thought because it's my 40th trip (did I mention that  ) and because Chris just turned 45 that it was as a good excuse as any    We've only ever stayed at HRH before but after ready many of Bondy's reviews of RPR I'm sure we won't be disappointed  So that's it. I'm off to check I have the passports and tickets in my hand luggage and then I'm off to bed  Thanks for reading along and maybe - just maybe - I'll do a food report. Edited at 09:16 PM. |
